2020年8月、仙台で結成された4ピースバンド・TIDAL CLUBの初のフルアルバム「pluralpainpacks」がOaikoよりリリース。

粗末な生活と倦怠、そして少しのオルタナを抱え、00年代邦オルタナをルーツに、エモ、ネット音楽、インディーロックなど各メンバーの背景を融合させた楽曲を鳴らす。

10月1日にリリースされる初のフルアルバム「pluralpainpacks」は、直訳すると“複数の苦痛のパック”。日々の中でふと訪れる、誰にでもある取り留めのない苦しさをもとに生まれた全10曲を収録。メロディと歌詞だけでも成立するシンプルさを軸に、現実で巻き起こる感情の変遷を余すことなく言葉にしている。

Formed in Sendai in August 2020, TIDAL CLUB is a four-piece band releasing their first full-length album pluralpainpacks from Oaiko.

Carrying a sense of modest living, ennui, and a touch of the alternative, they craft songs rooted in 2000s Japanese alternative rock while blending the diverse backgrounds of its members—emo, internet music, and indie rock.

Their debut full-length album pluralpainpacks, out on October 1, literally translates to “multiple packs of pain.” Containing ten tracks born from the vague, everyday struggles that anyone might encounter, the record is built on a simplicity that stands on melody and lyrics alone, while capturing the shifting emotions of real life without omission.
