Sadd, an emo/indie rock band from Mie Prefecture, has released their second EP.
Focusing on negative emotions such as “sadness” and “anger,” the four-track work sharply portrays the inner self, drawing on past memories, lingering feelings, and emotions that were never fully processed.
On the sonic front, the band shared references among the members and pursued a style of building songs instinctively, driven by impulse. The result is a jagged, glimmering sound born from their introspective nature, paired with urgent, tension-filled developments that naturally pull the listener in.
Serving as a voice for those who hide their emotions in everyday life or struggle to put their feelings into words, this EP offers a catalyst to release what has been quietly building on the other side of the heart.
